There is news coming on Popular filmmaker producer and director Vikram Dhillon booked for the cheating case. Mullanpur Dhaka (Ludhiana) Police have registered a case of fraud against the renowned Vikram Dhillon. Allegedly, Vikram has been charged with fraud as he failed to pay Rs. 18,000 / – to a Baaba owner in Ludhiana against food eaten by his crew members during the shooting of his Punjabi film in 2017.
Now, four years after the incident, an FIR has been registered. Dhaba owner Rahul Kumar revealed that the crew used to take three meals a day from his house. Further, he revealed that the actor had paid in the form of four checks, but did not ask him to encash the fourth check, which was worth Rs. 18,000.

After repeated attempts to contact Vikram, I finally deposited the check but was surprised to learn that the filmmaker had already stopped paying against the check, ”said Rahul.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rahul had lodged a complaint on July 13, 2017, with the then Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), who had marked the Superintendent of Police (Investigation) for investigation. Now, more than five years later, the police have registered an FIR.
Investigating Officer Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Baljit Singh said that a case has been registered against the actor under Section 420 (fraud) of the Indian Penal Code. The police will summon the accused to join the investigation.
